Minutes
September 20, 2004 Board Meeting
- Present: Patricia Swart, Paul Drda, Matt Maxwell, Roy
Jewell, Pete Roybal, Ken Crowder and the Agent-Mike Crowley. Ten
homeowners were also present.
- A representative with Champion windows was present to show
the merits of the windows and to present a price sheet for the various
units in the community.
- The insurance agent, Tom Young, and the adjuster were
present to discuss the settlement on the hail claim. Verbally they indicated
all but three roofs were totaled.
- Guest issues included discussion regarding tagging and
towing of vehicles, removal of a tree, a dog violation, requesting a bid
to resurface the tennis court, installing a new basketball hoop and
requesting that the gates be installed on the dumpster sites.
- The August 16, 2004 minutes were approved as submitted.
- The August 31, 2004 financial statements were reviewed and
approved subject to audit. Payables were reviewed and checks were signed.
- The Agent will issue a couple of work orders for some
light maintenance items.
- The Board reviewed a letter from an owner who was
responding to a violation notice.
- The Board approved the bid for the installation of sump
pumps in the remaining buildings.
- The Board approved the snow removal contract with Blade
Runners.
- The Agent will make arrangements to have two dumpsters in
each enclosure and three dumpsters in the enclosure between E & F.
- Peachtree is soliciting bids to replace the fence between
the two communities and asked that Seven Springs consider participating in
the expense; the Board will review the bids and make a decision.
- The Agent will request bids to resurface the tennis court.
- The Board approved the bid to renovate G-13 in
anticipation of hiring an on-site maintenance person.
- The Agent will contact the contractor to ask for a time
line for the installation of the gates for the dumpster enclosures.
- The Agent informed the Board that the Annual Meeting
notices would be mailed.
- The Agent was directed to send several violation notices.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 18, 2004 at 7:00
PM which will be the Annual Meeting.
In the Executive Session the Board discussed personnel
matters and the delinquent accounts. The Board also reviewed copies of letters
that had been sent to owners regarding violations.
With there being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
