Minutes
August 16, 2004 Board Meeting
- Present: Patricia Swart, Paul Drda, Matt Maxwell, Roy
Jewell, Pete Roybal, Ed Crowder and the Agent-Mike Crowley. Six homeowners
were also present.
- Ms. Dana Montano, who is the assistant to the District
Council Representative Ms. Jeanne Faatz, was present to address a number
of issues including no parking signs, animal control, road paving and
access, the house on the corner and helped clarify State, County and City
responsibilities.
- The guest issues included concerns with the paint on the
stair treads that needs touch-up and a couple of other items of general
conversation.
- The July 19, 2004 minutes were approved as submitted.
- The July 31, 2004 financial statements were reviewed and
approved subject to audit. Payables were reviewed and checks were signed.
- The Agent will contact the cleaning company and ask that
they concentrate on the cob webs in the hallways.
- The Board approved the pool closing after the holiday.
- The Board approved the bid for the purchase of a new pool
cover.
- After discussion, the Board approved installing new
windows in the clubhouse.
- The Board approved installation of new metal doors on the
utility rooms.
- The Board accepted the bid to install a new pool light to
meet code.
- There is no resolution of the hail claim at the time of
the meeting. The insurance agent will be asked to attend the September
Board meeting.
- The Board appointed Ken Crowder to fill the vacant Board
position.
- The Agent will ask for a bid to have the planter boxes on
the south side of the clubhouse to be upgraded in appearance.
- Pete Roybal suggesting considering translating the Rules
and Regulations into Spanish.
- The Agent was directed to send several violation notices
and to execute several work orders for some light maintenance items.
The next meeting is scheduled for September 20, 2004 at 6:00
PM.
In the Executive Session the Board discussed personnel
matters and the delinquent accounts. The Board also reviewed copies of letters
that had been sent to owners regarding violations.
With there being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
